Sauecommerce offers a completely free forever plan with premium plans (Essential, Professional, Business) to fit the needs of any business. The free plan is a great way to test the platform and premium plans will add new features and functionality to your store. You can upgrade any time you like.

Billing overview

We offer one free and three paid plans (Essential, Professional and Business) that differ by available features and prices. After you subscribe to a paid plan, the subscription is renewed automatically unless you cancel it.

Depending on your billing country, you are billed in US Dollar, British Pound, Euro, Indian Rupee, Mexican Peso, or Russian Ruble.

Review the prices in your currency on the Billing and plans page in your Sauecommerce admin or in the Sauecommerce iOS mobile app.

Sauecommerce admin subscription

When upgrading from the Sauecommerce admin, you can pay for your subscription with PayPal or a debit/credit card. You can choose between monthly and annual plans.

Sign up for a free account (no credit card required), upgrade, or change your plan at any time from your Sauecommerce admin, in My Profile → Billing and Plans.

Mobile in-app subscription

When you upgrade from the Sauecommerce iOS mobile app, the payment is processed via the App Store and so you pay with your Apple ID payment method.

Currently, you can't upgrade or downgrade plan from the Android app. You need to change plan in your Sauecommerce admin on desktop, and you will be charged with the credit card that you added to your admin.

You can choose between monthly and annual pricing plans.

You can see your current plan, upgrade, or change your plan at any time in the iOS mobile app, in Store → Billing and Plans.

Free plan description

When you sign up with Sauecommerce, you will automatically begin an account on the Free plan (no credit card required). With the Free plan, you can add up to 5 products to your catalog, set up shipping and payment methods, configure your store design and start selling. The Free plan gives you all the basic tools to get started. You can use the Free plan as long as you wish. It really is free!

The Free plan also allows you to see the Sauecommerce admin and storefront in action to understand how things work and what paid features your business may need. You can upgrade your sauecommerce account to one of our paid plans (Essential, Professional or Business) at any time.

Essential

The Essential plan is great for stores with up to 100 products in their catalog. The Essential plan, and all our higher plans, also allow you to sell digital products: e-books, audio, video master-classes, etc.

Professional

The Business plan is for stores with up to 2500 products in their catalog. It contains all the features of the Essential plan plus gives you more tools to showcase your products:

  • Recurring subscriptions
    Customers can subscribe to your products and pay you on a regular basis.
  • Product filters
    These display in the storefront to help customers easily view all the products in your store that match their search criteria: color, size, etc.
  • Product variations
    Selling products in different sizes, colors, or other options? Show what a product looks like with these different options and set the stock limit for each item with the help of product variations.
  • Multilingual catalog
    Let customers shop your store in their own language.
  • Multilingual site
    Let customers engage with your site in their language.
  • Redirects
    Create redirects for your Instant Site
  • Sell on the go with the Sauecommerce mobile app for iOS and Android
    Register sales manually at offline events like fairs, exhibitions, etc., from your phone or tablet.

Extra Business Plan tools for managing your store:

  • Edit orders
    Edit order details if a customer made a mistake when placing an order.
  • rack abandoned carts
    Customers often view products and add them to their cart, but don’t complete a purchase. An automatic recovery email will remind the shopper about their unfinished order.
  • 2 staff accounts
    You can invite two employees or partners to manage the store with you: they will be able to view and edit your Sauecommerce admin settings based on the permissions you grant them.

Business

As the name says, there is no limit on the number of products that you can have in your catalog on the Unlimited plan. You get all the features of the Business plan and more:

  • Unlimited number of staff accounts.
    Give access to your Sauecommerce admin to all your employees involved in order processing or catalog management.
  • ShopApp® ($295 on the Annual Unlimited plan or $590 on the monthly Unlimited)
    ShopApp® is a mobile app connected to your storefront. Once customers install the app, they can place orders directly from their phones and tablets. Submitting the app to the App Store and Google Play requires a paid developer account.
  • 6 hours of free customization service (only on the annual Unlimited plan)
    If your store has any specific needs that are not covered by Sauecommerce built-in features, the Customization team can develop an individualized solution just for you.

FAQ

Do I need to enter my credit card details to sign up?
No. You can sign up and use Sauecommerce's Free plan without entering your credit card details. We only ask your credit card details when you subscribe to a premium plan.

Can I change my plan?
Yes, you can upgrade, switch or downgrade your plan at any time.

How can I print my receipt for a paid plan?
Sauecommerce’s payment processor (Braintree) sends you an email after you’ve been charged. This email contains an attached receipt in PDF format. You can also see your receipts in Sauecommerce Control Panel → My Profile → Payment History by clicking View Receipt.

Do you charge transaction fees?
Sauecommerce does not charge any transaction fees. However third-party payment providers supported by Sauecommerce (like PayPal, Authorize.Net, etc) may charge extra fees and/or enforce rules concerning what you can and cannot sell using their service. When you set up an online payment method, we advise checking with the payment provider regarding their rules and fees.

Do you offer discounts for multiple stores?
Not at this time. However, we can help create multiple Sauecommerce stores. The Sauecommerce Partner program allows you to create multiple stores and maintain them all from one place. Check out our Partner Program to see more benefits.

Is Sauecommerce PCI Certified?
Yes. Sauecommerce is PCI DSS validated. This means all your data and customer information is secure.

Can I use my existing domain name?
Yes. You can use an existing domain name you already own. We also give you a free company.site domain name to get you started.

Can I sell from existing websites?
Yes. We have lots of ways to add e-commerce to your existing website or blog. You can add single product widgets, buy buttons, or embed your entire store.

Can I sell digital products too?
Yes. On all premium plans, you can sell e-books, videos, music, software, and everything else digital.

Do I need an SSL Certificate?
Sauecommerce’s Instant Site comes with an SSL Certificate. However, you must use your own SSL Certificate if you added Sauecommerce on any other website.
